Ayumu is the leading male character of the anime/manga. He is very intelligent like his brother, Kiyotaka. Even if that were true, Ayumu doesn't want to follow his brother's path and he doesn't want to be his brother's shadow. He is good with mysteries so most of the beginning cases were solved by him and Hiyono.

His love life probably revolves around Madoka and Hiyono. He has a small crush on Madoka in the beginning of the series but he does keep in mind that she is his sister-in-law. Since he is partnered up with Hiyono in most cases, there are a lot of interactions between the characters. They're very cute together. ^^

The Girl

Hiyono is the leading female of the series. She is very different from Ayumu in terms of behavior. She is hyper and cute. She knows everything the goes around anywhere, the best reporter ever. She's awesome! You'll find out the truth about her near the ending of the manga series, not going to spoil anything. XD

Since she hangs around with Ayumu the most, you can say there is a possibility of romance here. Of course, there are hints little here and there in the anime and manga series. =D Very cute.

The Two of Them

They make the best team ever! Seriously, with Ayumu's intelligence and Hiyono's skills at finding information, they can crack any case. In the anime, you'll see a lot of team work going on so that's awesome. They have chemistry together.

We all know they make wonderful friends, but will romance bloom from friendship? Well, that's up to you to decide! As for me, I believe there is room for romance but that's just me!

Why Them?

I love them together!! They're just an awesome pair, they match very well with each other so I chose to make a fanlisting on them. (I'm glad I got approved for it! ^^) In terms of partnership, I think they're the best from all that anime/manga I've watched/read.

The Series:

Spiral Suiri no Kizuna is about a boy named Ayumu who is trying to figure out what Blade Children means. His brother, Kiyotaka, left him a note mentioning them so Ayumu wants to know more about them. He doesn't want to be chasing after his brother's shadow but they just have so many things in common. Anyway, the anime starts off with a case of suicide (or so that's what it seemed like). After this one event, Ayumu's life changes completely.
