Yes! Thanksgiving…and GAMES!
GASP~! I are back! I just started playing games on my PS3 again. I figger FF13 should not have been the only game I bought the PS3 just to play (God of War was bad, imo…LOL). Anyway, I decided to pick up Valkyria Chronicles since I was also watching the anime. Awesome that I finally got the anime in 720p. I think twrev-Doremi were the groups that did the fansubbing/encoding. Thanks!
The anime was surprisingly good. The animation, music accompaniment, and plot were well done altogether despite some flaws here and there. Mainly, I must say the artwork must have been done by some other studio or some shit in the second OP, because that kinda looked weird. In any case, the plot followed quite closely to the game and in many cases touched upon things a lot better than the game where the scenes usually took only about a minute or so. It was too bad some of the filler episodes could have been chosen a bit wiser though. I was a bit surprised, for instance, when the anime did not incorporate the beach episode from the game. LOL. The ending was probably the least enjoyable for me. If the anime had imitated the game’s epilogue, it would have been great… An overall 8/10 if not only for the ending.
Now, I should go and buy the DLC’s…but $15 bucks is kinda hefty for only two sidestories and an EX-Hard mode (fuck, as if normal was not hard enough to A rank)…I will have to get it eventually for Ruhm and a chance to play as Selvaria though! O_O
Oh, I also got myself Starcraft after “testing” (:P) it for a couple of months. I must admit, I still fucking fail in RTS though after years of failure in Warcraft III. Someone please halp this p00r fool in the Bronze league~! ):
