Right, I decided to give Windows 7 a shot. I mean I did test Vista when it earlier in its beta stages. Well, I discovered I had an extended partition left over from those days and accidentally formatted my primary partition too (which so happened to be my XP install ROFL). So…now I’m using an RC operating system…but that’s better than a beta, right?

So, on my desktop I’ve filled one folder with almost 800 pictures of Megan Fox! lol. Don’t worry, it isn’t an obssession though. Also, the Transformers movie was terribad…just so you know. For a protagonist, Megan Fox really didn’t do much in the movie but look pretty…hm… Upcoming movies with her seem quite shite too.

Anyway, this wordpress (IT’S NOT A BLOG! Dx) is mainly for anime which I evidently haven’t been keeping up with. I still have Spice and Wolf transcoded on my IPod from over my old hard drive couple years back. But I did manage to watch some anime a couple months. One was Maria Holic. It’s basically about a lesbian girl who is practically so afraid of men that she gets hives when they touch her. She resolves to attend an all-girls school. The first girl she finds she immediately falls in love with…but this blonde is not exactly what she’s expecting!

Decent anime…it gets HILARIOUS at some points. Nonetheless, the monologues and excessive nonsense coming out from the homo kinda gets annoying after awhile. Don’t take my word for it though, it’s still got the warm feel to it. XP

Next one up is a story about a scary tiger and a ferocious dragon (who’s actually quite nice in the inside!). The male protagonist, Ryuuji, has problems making friends and getting to know girls because he has the face of a mean bully. Ryuuji is not what people make of him, however. His selflessness and generosity has earned him some close friends one of which he has a crush on. Ryuuji meets his match when he meets the tiger…or rather Taiga. She is intimidating and acts it! Like Ryuuji, she adores someone secretly. After some scuffles the two call it a truce to help each other reach their goals no matter how difficult and hectic it gets!

This one was a bit better than Maria Holic! and has more sentimental values. The old romance genre never gets old as the two protagonists vie for their own respective lovers. It’s got some humor here and there but won’t get you rolling on the floor laughing like Maria Holic. A good watch and a definite recommendation for all who enjoy romance dramas.

It’s been awhile since I last followed anime. Let’s be honest; I don’t. lol. But I recently checked out some of the ones that were starting. I saw this one…

In 4 years time the competition that will decide who the next Queen shall be will start. The strongest warrior will continue to rule the country according to tradition and expand it. The contestants need only be older than 12 years. They need not be human, intelligent or even of that country. The rules for the tournament are simple: murder is allowed. Any weapon can be chosen. The winner is decided when one of the participants flees or can’t move anymore. Such event is broadcasted trough a crystal sphere by the court’s magic teacher to all population to see and enjoy.

Let’s start by saying…you might wanna not watch it. I skimmed through some reviews at ANN and I stumbled upon this trailer which I might mention is uncensored.

Frankly, I only wanted to test out my video editting skills again…which isn’t THAT bad. Anyway, chyeah…uhm…did you see like…er…one of the characters’ hair turn into arms? This is going to be one of those crappy anime with excessive fan service. I guess a lot of people would like those kinda stuff…

Looks like several decent VA’s are in this…Fate/Stay Night’s Saber, Ayako Kawasumi and Suzumiya Haruhi’s Haruhi, Aya Hirano. Apparently, this is based off a game artbook. Here’s an english site on that:

Well, it’s been about four months…had a lot of stuff to do in real life. Anyhow, like usual, I did a little anime watching over this little hiatus.

First, I saw Scrapped Princess. It was one of the older anime that had a character that reminded me of Rosette Christopher from Chrno Crusade. In fact, I believe they were released about the same time. Basically, the anime is about a princess who is supposed to usher the world’s demise on her sixteenth birthday. So the royal family puts a bounty on her head and people are under the impression she was pure evil.

The anime’s alright. I enjoyed it for the most part. Although she really does remind me of Rosette. lol. But Scrapped Princess can’t compare to Chrno Crusade. I guess since the latter was a tragedy and SP didn’t really have any coupling. /shrug.

Next, I saw Shining Tears X Wind. It was based off a game by Sega for the PS2. The character designs are done by hentai artist Tony Taka. Kinda funny the game didn’t have any obscene content. The anime isn’t hentai either, of course. The story is about six high school friends who stumble in another world. Of the six, three are referred to as “soul bladers” and they can draw swords from other people when they’re “connected”. They fight to liberate the world from the decaying dark magic that is consuming it.

The anime was ok. In my opinion, the coupling was terribad. ); It seems that Kureha and Shiina (who were two of the first three female characters introduced) aren’t paired with any of the male protagonists. /sadface. IMO, Kureha was probably the best looking girl in the anime too.

Gotta love those anime about vampires.

Well, shite, I haven’t been posting for almost…what…six months? What happened? WoW happened. Right after I finished making some changes to this site, 3.0 came out and well…nevermind.

So I started watching Rosario+Vampire three months ago. It’s about a human who gets stuck in a school for monsters. He meets a sexy girl who’s actually a vampire. He pretty much stays in the school because of her. Despite the horrible jokes and annoying fanservice, it is actually a decent anime. The manga is really good though. I haven’t seen the second season, Rosario+Vampire Capu 2, yet but I’d assume it would continue from where it left off and follow the manga more closely this time around (seriously…). The second season should’ve ended on Christmas but I’m not sure if subbers have finished it yet. Nonetheless, the manga is still ongoing.

Fanservice and boobies. Lots of it.

I also started watching Ikkitousen recently. The plot recites an ancient Chinese legend, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Basically, the spirits of the warriors 1800 years ago are reborned in these Japanese kids who fight rival schools for…world domination. The story follows Sonsaku Hakufu who is one of the three conquerors from the legend. She’s stupid, well-endowed and plain annoying if you lasted through the dubbed version. She harbors a “dragon” that gives her immense amounts of power.

It is an old anime that started at 2003. That first season was total CRUD. The dubbed version can be found somewhere on the interweb if you search hard enough.

I’m on the second season, Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny, and the plot seems much more coherent. I also liked the transition of protagonists. Although Sonsaku is still an important character, she doesn’t appear as much. /cheer for Kan’u. I’m guessing the last season, Ikkitousen Great Guardians, will be back to Sonsaku as the center of attention. >:

BTW: DVD version of Ikkitousen has a lot of uncensored goodness. lawl.

Anyway, apparently, there will be a new movie for the series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. For those who don’t already know, it’s about the adventures of an ordinary elementary school girl who accidentally gained magical powers and uses it to…save the world…and other dimensions?

The 100th issue (on sale on July 30) of Gakken’s Magami Magazine will announce that a Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha film, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st, will open in Japan this winter. The movie will retell the first story of Nanoha Takamachi, an ordinary third-grade girl who becomes a magical girl in search of Jewel Seeds from another world, and Fate Testarossa, another magical girl competing for the Jewel Seeds. Franchise creator Masaki Tsuzuki emphasized that the movie is not necessarily the “true history” of the story, but a “new parallel history.”

It seems that the movie will be out sometime January to March of 2009. It’s back to the first series where Nanoha fights Fate for the Jewel Seeds…blahblahblah. Am I the only person who liked them better in StrikerS? It’s not really word-for-word the entire first series again…but like ANN said, it’s a “new parallel history”…go figure. Me likes when Nanoha and Fate weren’t fighting each other. :< It seems Fate also got a new looking Bardiche. In addition, it’s also been said that it might have a female voice this time too. o_O

And then there’s a Drama CD of StrikerS three years into the future without Nanoha, Fate, or Hayate. Imo, that’s all the important people. It seems a lot of the kids grew up a bit.

Chaos;Head is a japanese visual novel that revolves around an enigma with mysterious deaths. I haven’t played the game but the art seemed fun so I added that to the gallery.

Next FALCOM game is ZWEI2. I found the first game to be utterly boring. Lookie…Gurumin characters…lol.

I got some updates. I finished setting up the gallery almost two months ago. It has some random high quality scans from sites I go to. No they’re not from, MT or AnimePaper since I would not be giving proper credits. They’re mainly from random sources like AnimeSuki forums. The gallery can be access via the navigation bar or going here.

I also got a new theme up too! No more K2! I liked the simplicity of a minimalistic template, but I got bored of it fast. Top banner features Fuyou Kaede of Shuffle! It’s vectored. Here’s the vector and the screenshot just to show off.

Well, started watching Shuffle! (as you can tell with the new layout and vector). That pretty much sums up that all the yandere anime I found on this neat little picture:

Although Nanoha isn’t really yandere, imo. I enjoyed Shuffle! a lot from the beginning (unlike School Days which was unbearably slow paced and boring) to almost the ending (when it showed Kaede’s tsundere side). It’s the opposite with School Days, I liked the beginning, hated the end. Imo, Asa sucks and I felt the series really rushed on the relationship side. Meh, I wanna join the K.K.K….lol. Kitto Kitto Kaede. I’m probably going to regret writing that on this blog. Someone’s probably going to google this and start flaming me.

Another update: I finally decided to finish (or start, lawl) that Ys Origin trainer I mentioned about on my last post. It’s got EVERYTHING you can possibly ask for for that game. Well maybe godmode via Barrier which I forgot to add. Unlike my last trainer of Utawarerumono, it’s less of phail with C++ since I did it on CE. It’s less buggy and works like a charm, imo. More information can be found regarding this trainer in the downloads page underneath the link. The gist of it is that the MP rate doesn’t work unless you already have an existing MP buff on you, the teleport works from 0-21 (zero being the first floor and 21 being the roof with the last encounter), “Instant EXP” refers to the max amount of experience you can gain which really brings you to lvl60, and “Spam Charged Magic” is rather buggy with Yunica since all of her magic moves her or makes her impossible to control while she is casting (Hugos’ skills are fine and can be abused so badly as the screenshot up there shows).

I’m not too sure about Thor as I have only gotten him to lvl5 (as you can tell from the third screenshot, lawl). I don’t use cheats to play the game…I mean…lawl, seriously it takes out ALL of the fun. 72k dmg? LOLWTFBBQSAUcQekKtHXBAI. Yunica could do 100k with her charged Phoenix…lol. The last boss seems to bug out if you one-shot him. Be careful.

I also decided to do a little more video editting recently. I decided to go and try out subbing. The end product wasn’t bad, I guess.

On the other hand, I did learn a bit more about timing, typesetting, and encoding so that was a neat trade off.

As the above video might suggest, I started watching Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. Well, at this time, I’ve watched Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A’s and Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS. I didn’t know there was a prerequisite to the two so you bet I was kinda confused at the beginning of A’s.

Overall good anime. At first, I was going to avoid watching this because it’s about…Magical girls…lawl? Sure it’s got transformation scenes like Sailor Moon, but it doesn’t take two whole minutes on them and it doesn’t show it every single fucking episode.

I also started playing Falcom’s Ys Origin. I mean, it’s been out for almost two years. I don’t know why I haven’t played it yet. I managed to play Yunica’s storyline in Hard mode. That was a bitch. Then I played Hugo’s storyline in Hard. Holy crap was it easy. Now I’m playing Thor’s in Hard. Pretty cool game; but in my opinion, if I can beat it, then it isn’t hard. Lol.

Anyway, I’m working on a trainer for it. I’m planning on incorporating +999999 STR, +999999 DEF, +999999 MP Speed, and +999999 hit (which is x10000 exp rate).
