Gareas (No. 2) is the pilot of Eeva Leena. He is always trying to be the best and would take risks if he had to, to be better. Even though he is very selfish, he is still very kind to his bestfriend, Ernest. When Ernest died, Gareas cried. He completely broke down. That scene really touched me so I liked Gareas more after that.

As for his love life, Teela and Gareas are together. Even though they're together, Gareas often gets jealous of Teela because she is the best pilot and is on the top position. I think the only one Gareas really cares about is Ernest because he never seems too jealous of him. ^^;;

Why Gareas?

I chose him because I really like his character. I know his personality is terrible but he's realistic and sometimes, he reminds me of my inner self. I truly love his relationship with Ernest. He's just the best. XP

The Series:

Megami Kouhosei (Candidate for Goddess) is about Zero Enna who wants to become a pilot of a Goddess. After joining the academy GOA, Zero meets up with 4 other candidates who also want to become pilots. Not only that but they each also get their own partners (repairers). So basically the anime/manga talks about the candidates and their roads to become a pilot.
